Ernest Leonard Perks
Ernest Leonard Perks, a longtime Marin County resident and photographer, died Thursday at the Novato Community Hospital. He was 90.
Mr. Perks worked for many years as a commercial and portrait photographer in San Francisco.
He was born in Pennsylvania and lived in Larkspur for about 30 years before recently moving with his wife to Novato.
Mr. Perks was an avid San Francisco Giants fan who often took the bus to Candlestick Park to watch the baseball games.
Survivors are his wife, Marian Morton Perks; a daughter, Sallee Kiilerich of Novato, and a son, Laurence Morton Perks of North Carolina; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Private family services were held Friday at Keaton’s Chapel of Marin in Novato.
