MARC SUHAY

Passed on April 10, 2001 in Greenbrae, California after a valiant battle with cancer. Born in New York, raised in Naples, Italy an 18 year resident of Marin County. The beloved son of the late Ernest Suhay, surviving mother Maria, and loving brother to survivors Patricia, Charles and Katherine, his family and relatives, as well as his many devoted friends.

Marc touched the lives of many, with his caring ways and loving nature. People were drawn to Marc's charisma and charm. He had a gift to make everyone around him always feel special. The love he gave so freely came back to him ten fold. He will be deeply missed by all of us.

The family wishes to thank all of his loving friends who were there and cared for him until the end. A special thanks to the doctors and the staff at SF General ward 5A, in Marc's own words: "who put the word CARE into Healthcare," and the doctors and staff at Marin General ICU for tenderly caring for him in his last hours.

In celebration of his life and the causes he deeply believed in, in lieu of flowers, the family asks you please make donations in his memory to the following organizations: The American Cancer Society, The AIDS Foundation and the INYA Indigenous and Non-Indigenous Youth Alliance c/o The Pachamama Alliance. A private memorial service will be held in his honor.
