PETER TURRINI
Dies At 74 In San Rafael
Peter N. Turrini, 74-year-old retired San Rafael gardener and the father of 10 children, died yesterday at his home 21 Madrona street.
A resident of San Rafael for more than a half century, Turrini was a native of Brescia, Italy. He was a charter member of San Rafael Council 16, Italian Catholic Federation.
Surviving are his wife, Marina, and 10 children: Mrs. Elizabeth Perolini and Angelo R., David P., George A. and Peter N. Turrini Jr. of San Rafael, James J. Turrini of San Anselmo, John B. Turrini of Novato, Mrs. Philomena Pierson of Placerville, Louis A. Turrini of Berkeley and Bernard S. Turrini of Vallejo.
Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at 9 a.m. from the Harry M. Williams Mortuary, thence to St. Raphael’s Church for a Solemn Mass of Requiem at 9:30 a.m. Recitation of the Rosary will be at 8 p.m. today at the mortuary. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
