ALFRED MALFATTI
Alfred Malfatti of Petaluma died Saturday at his home after a lengthy illness. He was 69.
Mr. Malfatti was born and reared in San Francisco. He worked in the produce business in San Francisco until his retirement in 1980.
He also lived seven years in Sonoma before moving to Petaluma 12 years ago.
Mr. Malfatti served in the Army during World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Kieko Malfatti of Petaluma; two sons, David A. Malfatti of Petaluma and Thomas Malfatti of South San Francisco; four daughters, Karen Bongi of Manteca, Carol Portillo of South San Francisco, Sandy Gomez of Millbrae and Emily Malfatti of Petaluma; two brothers, Ray Malfatti of Sonoma and Louie Valenzano of South San Francisco; two sisters, Theresa Peritti and Amila Ferrero both of Sonoma; 13 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Parent-Sorensen Mortuary in Petaluma. Friends may call there until 9 tonight or after 8:30 a.m. Tuesday.
Burial will be at Cypress Hill Memorial Park in Petaluma.
