JACK J. DALPINO
Jack J. Dalpino of San Anselmo, a longtime Marin County gasoline station owner, died Sunday at his home. He was 55.
Mr. Dalpino was co-owner of Jack and Gregg’s Mobil station in Ignacio. His 19 years of selling gasoline and repairing cars in the county also include running stations in Kentfield and Fairfax, which he co-owned with his long-time partner Gregg McConnell of San Anselmo. Mr. Dalpino was a past president of the Marin County Service Station Association.
He was born and reared in San Francisco.
In 1948, he graduated from Lowell High School.
Mr. Dalpino and his wife, Toni, were married in Sebastopol in 1950. They settled in San Anselmo in 1951.
Mr. Dalpino was also a prominent breeder and exhibitor of English bulldogs. He was a member of the Bulldog Club of America and the Bulldog Club of Northern California.
He was also past president of the Fairfax Lions Club.
He is survived by his wife, Toni Dalpino of San Anselmo; a son, Peter Dalpino of San Anselmo; a daughter, Cydney Kilduff of El Sobrante; a brother, Jim Dalpino of El Sobrante; a sister, Dolores Duggage of San Francisco and two grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Anselm’s Church in Ross.
Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. today at St. Anselm’s.
Burial will be at Mt. Tamalpais Cemetery in San Rafael.
The family prefers memorial gifts St. Anthony’s Dining Room of San Francisco or the Marin County Humane Society.
