He was One of the Best Known Young Men in Sonoma County and Had Been Ailing for Many Months
Petaluma Argus
County Clerk SOMERS B. FULTON died at 3:10 o'clock this morning at his residence in Santa Rosa.
The cause of death was neuralia of the heart. As is well known Mr. Fulton had been in a precarious state of health for a long time.
Monday morning Mr. Fulton was reported ill and his physician was hastily summoned. Towards night he became gradually worse. The end came peacefully.
Somers Fulton, on account of his official position, was one of the best known men in the county, where he had lived since boyhood. He had legions of friends. An aged father, James Fulton, who resides in Southern California survives him. Mr. Fulton was 38 years of age. He was a Mason, an Elk and belonged to other fraternal orders.
