LYDIA CATHERINE GRAY
Earthquake survivor
Lydia Catherine Gray of Tiburon died Jan. 31 at 97.
Born in San Francisco, she survived the 1906 earthquake and fire.
She is survived by her children, Jane McColgan of Mill Valley, Lydia Haley of Concord and Eleanor Lynch of Concord; 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Friends are invited to attend a vigil service tonight at 7:30 at Russell and Gooch Funeral Chapel in Mill Valley, and may call at the chapel after 1 p.m.
A funeral mass will be tomorrow at 11 a.m. at St. Hilary’s Church at 761 Hilary Drive in Tiburon.
Memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity.
