HAROLD KLIER
Sales manager
Harold A. Klier of Novato died Sunday, Sept. 30, 1990, at his residence. He was 72.
He was a native of New York. He moved to Marin five years ago.
He served in the Army as a staff sergeant in 1945. He was an X-ray technician.
For the last 10 years, Mr. Klier worked as a sales director for Empire Messenger Service in New York.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Klier of Novato; a daughter, Karen Kidder of New York; and a sister, Frances Shapiro of New York. His son, Peter Klier, died earlier.
A private service was held Wednesday. He was buried at Mount Tamalpais Cemetery in San Rafael.
The family prefers memorial contributions to the Guide Dogs for the Blind or Hospice of Marin.
