George Melovich Dies In Sausalito

George Melovich, 62-year-old native of Sausalito and former proprietor of the Ferry Inn in Sausalito, died at his home at 408 Locust street Tuesday after a brief illness.

Melovich operated the inn during the days when the Sausalito-San Francisco Ferry Line was in operation. However, he retired when the ferries were removed and since has worked occasionally as a Sausalito bartender.

Melovich was a member of the Sea Point Parlor, NSGW, and the Sausalito Court, Foresters of America.

He leaves two nephews, Vincent and Marco Melovich, Jr.

Friends are invited to the funeral tomorrow at the Frank J. Keaton Mortuary, Sausalito, at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, San Rafael.
