Lucien Remy Service Held in S. F. Monday
Funeral services for Lucien Remy, Sr., of San Anselmo, were held in the Julius Godeau chapel Monday morning and burial followed in Woodlawn cemetery.
Remy died in the French hospital in San Francisco last Friday after an illness of long standing. His many friends in the county today mourn the loss of a man who was for many years active in Republican Central Committee functions and whose character was loyal and good.
He was for many years connected with the LaFargue French Laundry as its secretary and retired seven years ago.
A native of France, Remy leaves his widow, Mrs. Valentine Remy, two sons, Dr. Lucien A. Remy of San Anselmo, Camille Remy of San Francisco, and a niece, Mrs. N. McHugh.
He was a charter member of Lafayette Club No. 5 of Marin, San Francisco Chapter of Commerical Travelers, and member of Mansanita Tribe of Redmen, and Franco-American Chapter of Odd Fellows of San Francisco, which organization conducted the funeral.
