60-Year Resident Dies At Almonte
Funeral services will be held in Sausalito Saturday morning for Mrs. Frances M. Jackson, a resident of Marin County for the past 60 years, who died last Sunday at her home in Almonte. A native of England, Mrs. Jackson was 93 years of age.
Mrs. Jackson came to Sausalito with her husband, an importer, in 1894 and stayed there until 1944. She then moved to Almonte where she resided at 182 Almonte boulevard until the time of her death. She was active in Humane Society work and the save-the-redwoods campaign.
Her only local relative is a nephew, George H. Tucker of Mill Valley. Her husband, Thomas W. Jackson died in 1921.
Funeral services will be held at the Frank J. Keaton Mortuary in Sausalito at 10 a.m. Saturday. Interment will be at Fernwood Cemetery, near Sausalito.

A Death Notice on the same page adds the following: she was the wife of the late Thomas Wedgewood Jackson, aunt of George H. Tucker of Mill Valley, Mrs. H. Bennett of Ft. Assinboins, Canada; E. W. Tucker, Mrs. D. F. Hartley, A. Tucker and Mrs. C. Hudson, all of Canada.
