Death's Messenger Passes Over the Valley
Mrs. JOSEPH BLOOM, respected and beloved by all who knew her, passed away at a San Francisco Hospital, the result of an operation to remove a tumor. Mrs. Bloom was in middle life; she had fought the good fight for a competence for home, side by side with her husband.
Three grown up daughters and two sons were proud to call her mother. Jerry Bloom, her step son, was treated by her as if he were her own child. Mr. Joseph Bloom had such confidence in his oldest boy Jerry, that he entrusts the care of his large ranch on the coast, some miles to the north of Santa Cruz to him.
