S.H. HARDMAN, for some time a resident of Olema, died Tuesday morning the 28th. Undertaker Eden will go up Friday to take charge of the funeral. Mr. Hardman was born at Point Reyes 26 years ago. His death was the result of consumption.

Death's Messenger Passes Over the Valley

Sherbrook HARDMAN died in Olema. A long and lingering illness, which developed into consumption took poor Sherb away to that world where there is no more death, pain, or tears, for the former things have passed away. How bravely Sherb faced the inevitable, none but those who watched over him will ever know. Never was a frail body endowed with a braver spirit. Never has a man or the son of a woman, a kinder or more faithful nurse than Dottie Richmond, Sherbrook Hardman's wife was to him. Love rules in heaven. When love rules our hearts and actions heaven is here. Neighbors from far and near turned out to do the Miller and Hardman families honor and to mourn with them over the burial of their dead.
