ANTON KONATICH
Anton Konatich, 80, a retired Marshall restaurant owner, died yesterday at a local hospital after a long illness.
Born in Yugoslavia, Konatich moved to San Francisco in 1926 and to Marshall in 1928. He owned and operated Tony’s Seafood Restaurant and also operated a fishing boat. He had been retired for 10 years.
Konatich had been a member of the Croatian Fraternal Union of Francisco (sic).
He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Stephen Pavich of Delano; a son, Felix Konatich of Marshall; two sisters, Mrs. Bartolo Letinich of Petaluma and Mrs. Maria Svorinich of Argentina.
Requiem Mass will be said at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Vincent de Paul Church, Petaluma. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery. Recitation of the Rosary will be at 8 p.m. tomorrow at the Sorensen Funeral Home, Petaluma.
