NORMA CAIN GIBSON
A funeral for Norma Cain Gibson of Palo Alto, a former Marin resident, has been held in Palo Alto.
Mrs. Gibson died Nov. 10 at a Palo Alto convalescent hospital after a lengthy illness. She was 57.
She was born in Oregon and moved to California as a child. She lived in other communities in the state before moving to Marin.
She graduated from San Rafael High School and lived in Marin for about 10 years. She worked for the IBM corporation for many years as a keypunch operator.
She is survived by a son, David Archibald of Napa; a stepson, Andrew Gibson of Oklahoma; her mother, Dorothy Cain of San Rafael; a brother, Clyde Cain of Novato; and two sisters, Lois Babcock of Kentfield and Bernice Shera of Oregon.
Burial was in Sacramento.
The family prefers memorial donations to the Multiple-Sclerosis Society.
