ELVIA G. FRANCESCHI
Elvia G. Franceschi of San Rafael died unexpectedly at her home Thursday, She was 79.
She was born in San Francisco and had lived there all her life until moving to San Rafael in 1950.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Goldenaires and the Independent Order of Foresters.
Her late husband, Jerome A. Franceschi, died about 11 years ago.
She is survived by two sons, Jerome R. Franceschi of Corte Madera and Kenneth Franceschi of San Rafael; a sister, Louise Koster of Palm Springs; and three grandchildren.
A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Sylvester’s Church, San Rafael.
Entombment is in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in San Rafael.

A Death Notice in the same paper adds that she was the grandmother of Jerome Jr., Christine and Michelle Franceschi.
