WILLIAM P. FISHER
William P. Fisher, a resident of Novato, died Monday in a San Francisco hospital after a long illness.
A native of Minnesota, he came to California from Oregon in 1923 when he attended the University of Santa Clara.
He was a retired electronics engineer, who worked much of his life for Pacific Telephone Co. in San Francisco.
He was a member of the Sons In Retirement No. 22 which her served as the vice president of Little Sir. He was also a member of the Pacific Telephone Co. Pioneers.
He is survived by Vivian Fisher; a daughter, Lucille Sharman of Laguna Beach; two sons, William Fisher of San Francisco and Richard Fisher of San Bruno; and seven grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be said for him at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Our Lady of Loretto Church in Novato. Burial will be private.
The family prefers that memorial contributions be made to the Mercy High School Scholarship Fund, 3250 19th Ave., San Francisco.
