Mrs. Katie Mazzini, 48 Years Resident of S.R., Passes
Mrs. Katie Mazzini, a resident of San Rafael for 48 years, died at her home at 808 D street today after a long illness at the age of 52.
She is survived by her husband, Caesar Mazzini, a gardener at San Rafael High school.
Other survivors include a daughter, Shirley Mazzini, four brothers, John Bertoni of San Rafael; Peter, of Santa Cruz; George of San Jose, and Frank, of Menlo Park; and five sisters, Sophie Bertoni, Mrs. C. Bettini, Mrs. C. Marelli and Mrs. Lambretti all of San Rafael.
Funeral services have been set for Monday at 8:30 a.m. from the Harry M. Williams Mortuary, San Rafael, thence to St. Raphael’s Church, where a requiem mass will be celebrated for the repose of her soul. Rosary will be recited at the mortuary at 8 p.m. tomorrow and interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
