Alfred J. Rocha Succumbs After Long Illness
After a lingering illness, Alfred J. Rocha, 54, a resident here for 30 years, died Monday night.
A native of Portugal, Rocha came to this country as a youth. He is survived by three sisters – Isabell Lourenzo, Marine Mayo and Mary Nunes – and a nephew, John De Rosa.
Funeral services were held yesterday morning at 8:45 from the mortuary of Keaton & Dusel and at 9 o’clock at St. Raphael’s Church, where a requiem mass was said for the repose of his soul. Interment took place at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
