Mrs. E. Fernandez
Final rites were accorded Mrs. Emma Fernandez last Monday from her home at Waldo followed by mass at the Star of the Sea church and interment at Fernwood cemetery.
The 77-year-old native of Fairfax died last Friday of a sudden heart attack in San Francisco. Under the care of a physician for some time, she had gone for her regular check-up and died before the door of the doctor’s office.
Mrs. Fernandez, one of the Marins prominent pioneers (sic), was the wife of the late Manuel Fernandez who passed away several years ago. She is survived by her two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Fossas, of Sausalito, and Mrs. Minnie S. Rosenthal, of San Francisco.
Born in Fairfax, the deceased made her home there until shortly after her marriage when she moved to the Waldo home where she had resided for many years.
