Brief Local Notes
Alex Gray Forest, an apprentice on the English ship Invernill, lying off Sausalito, was drowned July 9th, 1902. He was painting the boat and fell into the bay. The body was found several hours later. Coroner Eden was notified, and the body brought to San Rafael, where an inquest was held on the 10th. The burial took place Friday at Mt. Tamalpais Cemetery.
