Bernice Hendriks Dies In Novato
Mrs. Bernice Hendriks, 45-year-old Novato housewife, died at her home early today after a three-month illness of cancer.
She resided at 836 Wilmac avenue since coming to Marin County 13 years ago from San Francisco, where she was born.
She was the wife of John Hendriks, self-employed painting contractor. Also surviving are five daughters and a son, Mrs. Regina Pechar of Hayward, and Elaine, Therese, Mary, Janice and Johnny Hendriks, at the family home; a sister and two brothers, Mrs. Hazel Mullany of San Mateo, Joseph Costello of San Francisco and James Costello of Sunnyvale, and two grandchildren.
A Requiem Mass will be offered at Our Lady of Loretto Church, Novato, Thursday at 9 a.m. The funeral procession will depart from the Keaton Mortuary, San Rafael, at 8:30 a.m. Committal will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, San Rafael. The Rosary will be recited at the Keaton Chapel at 8 p.m. tomorrow.
