Death of an Honored and Respected Citizen
The many friends in Sausalito and San Francisco of A.T. Marvin were grieved on Thursday to hear that he had passed away at Riverside, whither he had gone for the benefit of his health. Mr. Marvin was a native of New York, and spent 7 years of his life in the Phillipines where he contracted the illness that finally terminated his life. For nearly 18 years he was an honored and respected citizen of Sausalito, and for several years a trusted employee of the Spring Water Water Company of San Francisco. He was a churchman and received the last rites of the church from the Rector of this parish before his departure for Riverside. The body will be cremated in Los Angeles. Mrs. Marvin and Mrs. Campbell will arrive here, tomorrow (Sunday) morning and a requiem mass will be said in Christ church directly after their arrival.
