Walter D. Lynch Rites Thursday
A Requiem High Mass for Walter D. Lynch Sr., 53, who died Sunday after long illness, will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Raphael’s Church in San Rafael. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. tomorrow at Keaton’s Mortuary in San Rafael.
Lynch, who resided at the Mission Inn in San Rafael, is survived by two sons, Walter Jr. of Fairfax and Edwin, now in military service. He was a native of Vermont. Lynch was a member of Operating Engineers Union Local 3 in San Rafael. He had lived 18 years in Marin County.

LYNCH - In San Rafael, Dec. 14, 1958, Walter D. Lynch Sr., beloved father of Walter Jr. and Edwin Lynch, brother of John and Robert Lynch and Helen Spaulding; a native of Vermont, age 53 years; a member of Operating Engineers Union Local No. 3.
Friends are invited to attend the funeral Thursday, Dec. 18, 1958, at 9:15 a.m. from Keaton’s, Fifth and E street, San Rafael, thence to St. Raphael’s Church, where a Requiem High Mass will be said for the repose of his soul commencing at 9:30 a.m. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Rosary services will be recited at the Keaton Chapel at 8 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 17, 1958.
