Portuguese Native Louis Lourenzo, 80, Dies In San Rafael
Louis Lourenzo, 80, a resident of San Rafael for the past 48 years, died Sunday night at his home after a short illness.
A native of Algarve, Portugal, he had lived at 30-A Brookdale avenue, San Rafael. He was a retired employee of the Pacific Gas and Electric Co. and member of the San Rafael Council No. 57, IDES and San Rafael Council No. 19 UPEC.
Funeral services will be held 9 a.m. tomorrow from the Harry M. Williams Mortuary, San Rafael, thence to St. Raphael’s Church for Mass of Requiem. Recitation of Rosary is 8 o’clock tonight at the mortuary.
Lourenzo was the husband of the late Isabel Lourenzo, father of Marie C. Lourenzo of McFarland, Calif.; Inez M. Lourenzo and Mrs. John H. DeRosa of San Rafael; and August J. Lourenzo of San Francisco. He also leaves two grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
