Died in Rome
A dispatch was received Sunday announcing that Edwin L. Griffith, son of Captain Griffith, had died in the city of Rome, Italy. He was a resident of Ross Valley and had business interests in the city. He, accompanied by his wife and son, left in October for Europe for the benefit of his health, expecting to be absent for a year. Death was the result of heart failure, brought about by pneumonia.
