HELEN F. CALLISON
A private service was held for Helen F. Callison, a former Marin resident and telephone operator in San Rafael.
Mrs. Callison died Monday at the Tuolumne General Hospital in Sonora after a long illness. She was 77 years old.
She was born in Illinois and moved to San Anselmo in 1947. She lived there and in San Rafael for about six years and then moved to Petaluma.
She worked as an operator for Pacific Telephone Co. in San Rafael.
In 1962, she moved to Mountain View to be near her family.
Her husband, Harold Callison, died in 1961.
Mrs. Callison is survived by two sons, Robert Callison of Los Altos and Keith Callison of Sugar Pine, Tuolumne County; a sister, Floy Riggleman of Sugar Pine; four brothers, Claude, Lloyd, Harry and Kent Covey, all of Illinois; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Inurnment was at Alta Mesa Memorial Park in Palo Alto.
