Mrs. Mary Dallara Dies At 86

Mary Dallara, a resident of San Rafael since 1906, died yesterday in her home after a lengthy illness. It was the 69th anniversary of her wedding to the late Anthony Dallara.

Mrs. Dallara was 86.

She and her husband were married in their native Italy and came to Marin County on their honeymoon, settling here shortly after the San Francisco earthquake. The husband was a maintenance man, working at various times for the Dollar Estate, the Independent-Journal and many families.

Mrs. Dallara was a member of the Italian Catholic Federation.

She is survived by four daughters, Enes Mager, Mary Brown, Louise Redieve and Florence Curry; two sons, Louis Francis and Edward Dallara; one sister, Angelina Angelotti, 26 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow in St. Raphael’s Church, followed by burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery. The Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. today in Keaton’s Mortuary.
