MRS. KAIDES
Mrs. Artie Mae Kaides, mother of Mrs. Cloteal Miner of San Anselmo, died in a local hospital today after a short illness. She was 76.
A native of Louisiana, Mrs. Kaides had made her home with her daughter at 78 Brookmead Court the past two years. She had lived in California 35 years and previously lived in Marin County for a time.
She was a member of the Women’s Department Club of Homer, La.
Her husband, John C. Kaides, a retired real estate businessman, died in 1954.
Mrs. Kaides is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Miner; three sisters, Mrs. J. D. Odom of Haynesville, La., Mrs. C. V. Palmer of Summerfield, La., and Mrs. R. S. Stevenson of Atlanta, Ga.; and two grandchildren.
Funeral will be tomorrow at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of the Hills, San Anselmo. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park, Colma.

A Death Notice in the same paper adds that she was the grandmother of George and Mark Miner.
