ROBERT A. MADDEN
San Rafael resident

Robert A. Madden of San Rafael died Sunday, April 11, 1993, at home. He was 60.

Mr. Madden was born in Ashland, Oregon, and was raised in different towns throughout Oregon.

He graduated from the Colorado School of Mines in Golden, Colo., and then served in the U. S. Army for four years.

He worked for Chevron Oil Company as a computer system analyst, and his work called for many moves throughout his career. He lived in New Orleans, Dallas, Utah, Los Angeles, Pleasanton and Marin.

He retired two years ago and returned to San Rafael to live.

He loved classical music, both attending concerts and listening to recordings. He was also very interested in maps and astronomy.

Mr. Madden is survived by his wife of 37 years, Patricia L. Madden of San Rafael; his mother, Norma Harrison of Tampa, Fla.; and a sister, Judith Harrison of Tampa.

A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Keaton’s Mortuary, 1022 E St., San Rafael.

Burial will be at Mount Tamalpais Cemetery in San Rafael.
