JEFF M. ATWELL
Property manager
Jeff M. Atwell died Saturday, March 13, 1993. He was 32.
Mr. Atwell was born in Detroit, Mich. He moved to California more than 13 years ago and lived for a time in San Francisco.
He served in the U.S. Army and attended college.
He lived the past five years in San Rafael and Tiburon, working as a property manager and plumber apprentice.
In 1984, he was nominated for a San Francisco Citizen’s Assistance Award for chasing and helping police catch a man who stabbed a hotel manager.
He enjoyed shooting pool and was the captain of a team in San Francisco.
Mr. Atwell is survived by his father, Walter Atwell of Indiana; his mother, Zenia Weng of Detroit; two brothers, Glenn Atwell of Portland, Ore. and Keith Atwell of Detroit; and a sister, Kathleen Atwell of Detroit.
A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Green Gulch Zen Center, 1601 Shoreline Highway, Sausalito, 94965.
