Guillaume Letiec, an aged woodchopper who for many years has resided in Lagunitas canyon, was found in a dying condition on the county road, near Olema, by William Aickley last Friday. Aickley brought him to San Rafael where Dr. W. J. Wickman attended him. He was past help, however, and died during the night in the women’s cell in the county jail. An inquest was held Monday by Coroner F. E. Sawyer, resulting in a verdict of death from natural causes.

Deceased was 76 years of age, a native of Brittainy, France. He was buried at the County Farm.
