MRS. STEVENS
Frances H. Stevens, 86, a retired department store clerk, died yesterday at a local rest home after a short illness.
Mrs. Stevens, of 89 Via La Cumbre, Greenbrae, was the widow of Thomas Stevens who died in the 1930s.
She had been a resident of Marin for four years after living most of her adult life in Southern California. She was a member of Catholic Daughters of Pasadena, Court No. 933, and had been a clerk for Nash’s department store in Pasadena. She was a native of Ohio.
Surviving are a son, Walter Stevens of Greenbrae, and a granddaughter.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Thursday at St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church in Pasadena. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, Los Angeles.
