MRS. RAFFERTY
Lilllian E. Rafferty, mother of Mary R. Tobell of San Rafael, died yesterday in her daughter’s home, following a lengthy illness. She was 74.
Mrs. Rafferty had lived in Marin County only one year. She was a member of St. Isabella’s Parish.
She was born in Long Branch, N.J. She worked more than 50 years as a beauty salon receptionist.
She also is survived by two sisters, Beatrice LaCour of St. Petersburg, Fla. and Ruth Bowes of Briarcliff Manor, N.Y., two grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Williams and Heffernan Mortuary, San Rafael, followed by burial in Mount Tamalpais Cemetery. The Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. tomorrow in the mortuary.

A Death Notice in the same paper adds that she was the grandmother of Mrs. Eileen Allen and Frank J. Barry, and great grandmother of Michael J. Barry, all of St. Petersburg, Fla.
