MILDRED BELL SILVERBERG
Tiburon resident
Mildred Bell Silverberg of Tiburon died Wednesday, July 25, 1990, at her home following along illness. She was 76.
Mrs. Silverberg was born in Newark, N.J. She had lived in Marin since 1975.
Mrs. Silverberg graduated from the University of New York with a business degree.
Mrs. Silverberg was director of operation for Raymond Bell and Associates, real estate developers in Union, N.J.
She was active in business affairs and civic groups in Union County, N.J., until her retirement in 1970. The family then moved to Fort Lauderdale, Fla., for five years before coming to Marin.
Mrs. Silverberg was past president of Hadassah, a Jewish organization.
She enjoyed golfing and walking along Tiburon’s bike paths.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today at Mount Tamalpais Cemetery, San Rafael.
Mrs. Silverberg is survived by her husband of 54 years, Arthur Silverberg of Tiburon; a daughter, Sherry Silverberg of Tiburon; two sons, Richard Silverberg of San Francisco and Steven Silverberg of Jacksonville, Ore.; and two brothers, Robert Bell of San Rafael and Stanley Bell of Pompano Beach, Fla.
The family prefers memorial contributions to Hospice of Marin.
