CALLAHAN – In San Francisco, Jan. 23, 1955, James W. Callahan, beloved husband of Anna Callahan, loving father of Mrs. Evelyn Steen of Oakland, James W. Callahan Jr. of San Rafael, Richard Callahan of New York, and the late Ruth C. Callahan, loving brother of Mrs. Mary Norris, Mrs. Catherine Munger of Chicago and the late Margaret VonSydow, also survived by three grandchildren; a native of England, aged 70 years.
A member of Golden Gate Council No. 615 Knights of Columbus of San Francisco. Friends are invited to attend the funeral Wednesday, Jan. 26, 1955 at 9 a.m. from the Harry M. Williams Mortuary, San Rafael, thence to St. Raphael’s Church, San Rafael, where a Mass of Requiem will be said for the repose of his soul commencing at 9:30 a.m. Recitation of the Rosary at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Mortuary. Entombment Holy Cross Mausoleum.
