RICHARD DILLEHAY

Richard A. Dillehay, 51, of 37 Hillcrest Drive, San Rafael, died yesterday in a local hospital after suffering a heart attack at his home Tuesday night.

A native of Plano, Tex., he moved to McAlester, Okla., as a child, then came to San Rafael in 1943. After working at Marinship, the San Rafael Post Office and the Marin County Ice Co., he joined the Pacific Gas and Electric Co. in 1951. He remained with that company as a gas mechanic until his death.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Gay Dillehay of San Rafael, a daughter, Mrs. Oma Gaye Minyard of Stockton; three sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Self of Napa, Mrs. Eva Minyard of Napa and Mrs. Ethel Stocking of San Rafael; three brothers, Doyle, Ray and Horace Dillehay, all of San Rafael and two grandsons.

He was a member of the Marin County Bowling Assn. and the Pacific Service Employees Assn.

Funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Keaton’s Mortuary, San Rafael. Burial will be in Mount Tamalpais Cemetery, San Rafael.
