RICHARD CLARK LEONARD

Richard Clark Leonard of Mill Valley died Tuesday at his home after a long illness. He was 32.

He was born in San Francisco and had lived in Mill Valley since he was about 2 years old.

He was a graduate of Tamalpais High School and had earned a degree in sociology with honors from San Francisco State University.

He is survived by his mother, Mary C. Leonard; a sister, Diana Leonard; and a brother, John Leonard, all of Mill Valley.

His father, Dr. Maurice E. Leonard, and a sister, Susan, died earlier.

A private graveside funeral will be Thursday at Alta Mesa Cemetery in Palo Alto.

The family plans to have a memorial service at a later date.
