JOHN S. DOYLE
Painter

John (Jack) Sidney Doyle of San Anselmo was an adventurer who lived around the country. He made his home in Sausalito, Novato, Lake Forest, Ill. and Martha’s Vineyard.

He died Dec. 5 of liver failure. He was 47.

Mr. Doyle was born in Lake Forest, Ill.

He graduated from Lake Forest High School and completed a trade school for painting.

He enjoyed fishing, music, reading, playing the harmonica and wild animals.

Mr. Doyle is survived by his mother, Florence, and sister, Mary Ellen, both of Crystal Falls, Mich.; and daughters, Molly and Meghan of Salt Lake City.

A musical remembrance will to tomorrow at 6 p.m. at 10B Hamilton in Novato. Guests are asked to bring instruments and amplifiers, if possible.
