Sister, Visiting at Convent, Dies There
Death claimed Sister Thomasine, for over 60 years an active teacher in the schools of the Dominican Order in California, at noon today, Thursday, in the infirmary at the Dominican Convent where she had been visiting for several months.
Sister Thomasine was a native of Nova Scotia. She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Edward J. McCauley and Miss Loretta Best, of San Francisco, two brothers, William and Frederick Best.
Funeral services will be held in the chapel of the Dominican Convent on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. Interment will take place in the Sister’s Cemetery at Benicia.
