DONALD F. DRIESCHMAN
A memorial service was held today in Inverness for Donald Frederick Drieschman, a retired engineer.
Drieschman, 67, died Saturday at a local hospital after an illness. A native of San Francisco, he had lived in Inverness for the past nine years.
Drieschman had worked 33 years for Hughes Aircraft as an electrical engineer. He formerly had lived in Oceanside and was a member of the Elks Lodge there.
He is survived by his wife, Avis M. Drieschman of Inverness; three sons, W. Scott Drieschman of San Diego, Rebel Pattison and Jock Alexander of Inverness; and a daughter, Kaaren D. Gann of Santa Barbara.
Inurnment was private. Contributions may be made to the San Francisco Maritime Museum.
