REX C. GOLDSBROUGH
Rex C. Goldsbrough of San Rafael died unexpectedly Monday at Novato Community Hospital. He was 63.
Mrs. Goldsbrough served 30 years with the Golden Gate Bridge District. He retired in January with the rank of lieutenant.
He was born and reared in Mountain Home, Ida., and had lived 30 years in San Rafael.
Mr. Goldsbrough was an avid golfer.
He is survived by his wife, Lena Goldsbrough of San Rafael; a son, Martin Goldsbrough of Novato; a daughter, Kathleen Allwardt of Eureka; two sisters, Roberta Stone of San Mateo and Iris Callahan of Oregon, and four grandchildren.
A private funeral is planned. Arrangements are being handled by Keaton’s Mortuary in San Rafael.
The family prefers that contributions be made to the American Cancer Society or a favorite charity.
