WILLIS LeVAN
A private service for Willis “Bill” Carroll LeVan of Larkspur, a longtime Marin resident and plumber in the community, will be held.
Mr. LeVan died Saturday at his home after a lengthy illness. He was 77.
Mr. LeVan was born in San Francisco and moved to Larkspur in 1914. He worked as a plumber for many years, and was a member of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry Union Local No. 38.
He also was a member of the Marin Rod and Gun Club and the San Rafael Goldenaires.
Mr. LeVan is survived by a son, Edwin LeVan of Novato; a daughter, Carol Burns of Novato; a brother, Lloyd LeVan of Auburn; a sister, Isabelle Paradise of Danville; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
