John Classen Found Dead By Neighbor

Dead for days, the body of John Classen, aged 67, and a resident of Fairfax for nearly two years, was discovered Sunday noon on the veranda of his residence, 281 Bolinas Road.

A neighbor, Henry Corby, dwelling at 267 Bolinas Road, observed that wood recently delivered to Classen, had not been moved, and investigated. This led to the discovery of his body.

John Classen was a former brewer. His nephew, John C. Classen, lives in San Francisco, where the remains were taken for funeral rites.

Police Chief Andrew Peri, summoned by Corby, called in Harry Williams, deputy coroner, who stated Classen had died of a heart attack.
