ALBERT MIRANDA

Albert Miranda died Monday at his home in Petaluma after being ill for about a year. He was 88.

Mr. Miranda was reared and educated in his native San Jose. He lived in Oakland before coming to Petaluma 24 years ago.

He was a machinist working for the American Can Co. for more than 44 years. He retired in 1960.

He was a member of the Machinists Union Local 1327 of San Francisco.

He is survived by his wife, Blanche R. Miranda of Petaluma; a son, James Miranda of Newark; and four grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Parent-Sorensen Mortuary in Petaluma. Burial will be in Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Petaluma.
