Timothy W. Phinney, one of the oldest and most respected citizens of Bolinas, died at the home of George Runckel there last Friday after a protracted illness.
The funeral took place Sunday and was attended by a large number of the people of that section of the county. Rev. Dr. Hitchcock of this city officiated.
The deceased was 74 years of age and a native of Massachusetts. He had resided in Bolinas for the last 40 years. He was a notary public and at one time Justice of the Peace at that place.
