Sarah Ann Rosengren, wife of Chas. Rosengren, watchman on the ferry boat Sausalito, died Thursday afternoon at her rooms in the Ryan building, corner Princess and Water streets. Death was due to a chronic affection (sic) of the kidneys. Deceased visited her native country, England, about four months ago and returned about ten days ago. The severe trip across the country proved too much for her, and she returned home in a very weakened condition. She was born in Northampton on April 8, 1858. The funeral will take place today. Interment, Sausalito Cemetery.

The Marin County Undertaker’s records report that Mrs. Sarah A. Rosengran (sic) died Oct. 30th, age 44y 6m, and was buried on Nov. 3rd.
