Deaths
Thomas Butcher, formerly a well known scout on the Western prairies, died last Wednesday at the Poor Farm. He was interred in the County Cemetery.

Local News Happenings
Last Friday, Thomas Butcher, a long time inmate of the county farm, passed away at the ripe old age of 85 years. In early days he was employed by the U. S. Government as a scout on the western prairies. His funeral took place at the County Cemetery under the direction of Undertaker Eden.
