Mrs. Delia M. Regan of Sausalito, died Nov. 19th. She was a native of California, aged 51 years, and is said to have been the first white child born at Sacramento.

Mrs. James Regan Dead
Delia M. Regan, wife of James Regan and mother of Nicholas Regan, passed away at her home Monday after many years illness and was buried on Wednesday. Mrs. Regan was born in Sacramento fifty one years ago and it is claimed she was the first white child born there. Her father, Nicolaus Algiers, was a prominent man in those days. The town of Nicolaus was named after him.
