Antone Joseph Dies At His Home Here
Antone Joseph, for many years a highly esteemed resident of Sausalito, passed away at his home on Alameda Point on December 1st. His death was very sudden and unexpected, he being ill only three days before the end came. Mr. Joseph, who was a member of Federal Union No. 11,440, was born in Portugal sixty-seven years ago. He was the father of a large family, all of whom are left to mourn his loss. These are his wife, Isabel; his daughters, Emily, Delphine and Mary Joseph, Mrs. Taxeira (sic), Mrs. Clara Bell of San Rafael, and his sons, Joseph and Antone. The funeral took place Monday, from St. Mary’s Church, and was largely attended by many friends of the deceased. Interment took place in the Sausalito Cemetery.
